Grenada

Hello and Salutation family and friends. Well you know how things go sideways sometimes… well today was that day. We had a river tubing excursion booked. Well Mother Nature decided her idea of a fun time was to literally rain on our parade. We were loaded into our bus headed to the location and literally five minutes into the ride, our driver pulled over and turned around. The trip was cancelled because the river was to risky for traveling due to heavy rain. So we now were 1 out of 3 excursions. I guess in baseball, a .33 is great but not when you trying to explore the world.”haha” So we returned to the port which we then did our own exploration. We did our own gps my city tour. Boy oh boy, we got our exercise this day. The first was the local church which was up a very steep hill but we survived. The next stop took us down to a bay. The streets were very narrow. We had to be very careful to not get run over by the local crazy drivers. St Louis drivers on steroids. The bay was amazing. So many fish close to the pier. We then walked to a local chocolate store. We did not partake in in the chocolate. Then we walked to a church that has been rebuilt following a hurricane. Next to the church is next to the old fort. We were unable to visit the fort because they are renovating the fort. We then returned to the ship. All in all the day did turn out good. Make lemonade when given lemons was the lesson of this great day. Thank you for following our journey to this point. Stay awesome.
