Hello and salutations friends and family. Today we arrived in the port of Costa Maya Mexico. The new friends I mentioned in the previous post told us about a golf cart company here at this port that allows you to rent the cart for all day. So when got off the ship, we got in a waiting line and by chance were able to rent a six person golf cart. The secret to this self guided tour was to drive to the end of the permitted area which had a little beach bar and shopping spot. The hosts of the bar were fantastic. They treated us very well. We also ran into our new friends. We enjoyed our time by the sea side and the weather was more than perfect. Then it was time to make our way back to the ship. Katie drove us out to the location and then I drove us back. I would have to say the roads were not great. There was a lot of potholes and speed bumps which our golf cart did not have good shocks..hahaha.. but we did make it back all in one piece.

For our dinner time, our wait staff were great, Frederico and Ann were great. Of course I know that on Royal I will get my escargot, which is amazing. Yes please. They would bring cheese plates to our table as a pre-dinner appetizer. That was much appreciated by all at the table. Another day and adventure is in the books. Thanks for following us on this grand adventure. We love sharing our experiences with you all. Take care and stay Awesome.
